Four employees were injured while attempting to set trusses on a barn. The trusses collapsed and the employees fell. Two of the employees were hospitalized. The first suffered a chipped shoulder bone and lacerations to his head. The second suffered compression fractures to three vertebrae.

A worker fell approximately 9 feet from a scaffold platform to the ground below sustaining a compound fracture to the jaw and a punctured liver. The scaffold plank bridged over the apartment breezeway and was supported by two walls that were approximately 6 feet apart. The platform was used in setting the rafter trusses.
