This resulted in a partial amputation and a fracture to the fingertip.

On January 30, 2019, at approximately 4:27 PM, an employee was exiting his tractor-trailer at the truck stop, slipped on an icy L bracket on the truck and fell. He proceeded to disconnect the trailer. While cranking down on the legs of the trailer, which were frozen because of the temperature, he felt pressure and heard a pop. The employee was hospitalized for a hernia.

An employee was installing trip savors on an electrical line (13,200 volts) from an aerial lift when he attempted to tighten a bolt on a switch bracket using a cordless drill. An arc flash then occurred, resulting in second degree burns to both of his hands. He was hospitalized. Rubber gloves were not worn at the time of the incident.
