On August 28, 2017, at approximately 2:00 p.m., an employee was using a table saw to rip a piece of wood for a tabletop. The wood was 45 inches in length and 1 inch thick. While using a push stick, the employee's hand slipped and made contact with the rotating blade, amputating the third finger on the left hand. The employee was hospitalized for surgery.
