The employee was hospitalized with broken bones (including a compound fracture) to the left tibia and fibula.

An employee suffered two broken ankles while hoisting a scale using an overhead crane. The scale had just been painted and was being lifted from a floor platform to be moved to an adjacent area for drying. The employee was raising the scale off the floor platform, taking up the slack of the rigging, when the scale slid off the platform and struck the employee's feet. Both ankles were broken from the impact.

Worker had just picked up a load of chemicals for the supplier and he was removing the wheel chocks from the trucks wheels. He had removed the first set of wheel chocks and moved to the second set. As he pulled them free from the wheels, he tripped over the first set he had pulled. He fell to the ground and landed on the second set of chocks. He broke his hip and possibly injured his back.
