At about 2:15. p.m. on April 12, 2019, a postmaster was on a back dock as empty all-purpose postal containers were being loaded onto a scissor lift to load onto a truck. As the lift was being raised to the level of the truck, one of the containers rolled off and struck the employee in the back, pinning her against the brick wall. She suffered a 2-inch laceration on the top of her head (requiring five staples), a fractured vertebra in her neck, and a concussion.
