A diver was underwater cutting steel floor beams from an anchor span truss when the anchor span moved and pinched his hand between the previously cut lateral beam and the truss. The employee was trapped for a few minutes until the steel structures moved and released him, allowing him to surface. He suffered a right ring finger and pinky fingertip amputation, as well as a right middle finger laceration.
