On April 7, 2020, at approximately 7:20 AM, a maintenance employee was adjusting the height of a mower, which requires adding or removing shims from travel tires. While removing shims, the hydraulics bled down, causing the mower to slide down and catch the employee’s right hand in a pinch point. The employee sustained a compound fracture to the fourth finger and the fingertip was amputated.
