An employee was attempting to load a heifer into a trailer and placed a rope around the saddle horn to pull the heifer into the trailer. The rope slipped off the saddle horn and the loop in the rope quickly tightened around the employee's right middle and ring fingers due to the calf pulling back on the rope. The fingernail and skin was removed from the tip of his right middle finger and the right ring finger was fractured. | |||||

Employees were inside the basket of the feed truck repairing the drive shaft on the main floor chain that is beneath the grain pile and perpendicular to the feeder/delivery chain. As the employees were removing feed from the main floor basket to access the drive shaft, an employee was swept by the feeder chain and pulled up and entangled into the beater bar.
