An employee was charging a rack through a produce case on the sales floor. He had the Schrader core removed from the access fitting where his hose was hooked up. Upon completion, the case went into a time-off defrost, which fills the evaporator with liquid Freon. When he disconnected his hose liquid Freon started to spray out of the fitting. As he tried to reconnect his hose, the Freon burned his right hand and forearm and his left hand and part of his left forearm.
