On or about August 23, 2016, at 6:00 p.m., an employee was observing an apprentice associate on the reach truck during training. As the apprentice associate completed a transaction and was moving the reach truck to another aisle, the apprentice struck the employee, fracturing his pelvis and kneecap. He was hospitalized.
