An employee was troubleshooting a tree sprayer with a full tank while on the boat dock at a pond. The sprayer released a chemical for the control of cyanobacteria and algae onto the employee and another employee. Both employees were hospitalized for injuries sustained including corneal abrasion, bilateral conjunctivitis, and chemical burns.
