An employee was moving landscape timber. One of the timber cores fell off the loading table, crushing the employee's left little finger against the metal frame of the machine. The finger was later amputated.

An employee was breaking out a second employee at the banding station area. A unit of plywood came into the banding station and was automatically strapped but failed to completely clear the banding area of the machine. The first employee walked over and was using his left hand to push the unit out of the strapper when his left foot contacted an electronic eye that controls the sequencing of the bander and triggered the machine. The top bar of the strapping machine then lowered onto his left hand

An employee was cleaning suction holes on a stacker, using a 4.5" side grinder with a wire brush wheel. While cleaning pitch off the holes, he had the grinder in his right hand and was holding off some belts that were in the way with his left hand when the wire wheel contacted his left thumb. A piece of wire strand became embedded in his left thumb and had to be surgically removed.

A stack of plywood came out of a press machine and did not fully roll out onto the roller bed to be picked up by a forklift. An employee tried to manually complete the cycle on the machine to move the stack of plywood. The load of wood then smashed his hand, breaking his thumb and lacerating his hand.
