Two employees were changing out machine pads on a bar turner machine. To get to the machine pads, they needed to open another door within the machine that was pinned and hinged, however the door was stuck. Both employees pushed the door. When the door moved, the injured employee’s right middle finger was caught in one of the pin holes and the distal portion of the finger was amputated.
