On March 8, 2016, at 10:00 AM, two employees were working on the first level of the chemical vaporation area when a crane operator on the second level lowered the ring to lift a load. A 50-pound safety ring dislodged from the lifting ring from about 7 feet, striking one employee in the hard hat and another one in the back. The employee who was hit in the back was hospitalized with three broken ribs and a hematoma.
