The pipe is set on the rack and rolls down to a pipe stop at the end of the rack that is supposed to slow the pipe down before it rolls into the machine. On 2/24/2015, at approximately 2:00 PM, an employee was injured while changing a tire on a large forklift in the forklift maintenance shop. A smaller forklift was being used to lift the tire into position. The employee was holding the tire in place when the smaller forklift ran over his leg. Incident resulted in broken bones in the lower right leg. Injured employee was taken to the hospital and received surgery at approximately 7:00 PM.
