At approximately 9:45 a.m. (CST), an employee was using a crane to move a piece of sheet metal. The piece of sheet metal became stuck on another sheet. The employee tried to free the piece of sheet metal with his right hand. When the piece of metal dislodged, it struck the employee's right ring finger and caused an amputation of the right ring fingertip. | |||||

While on an aerial lift, an employee was removing a tree top using a chain saw when the tree top fell backwards and struck the employee. The force of the contact drove the employee's face into the lip of the aerial lift's bucket. The employee suffered a broken nose and several facial fractures. |
