| An employee was preparing to reinstall a box chain that had broken. When he tried to rotate the drive belt manually (in order to straighten the chain and thus find its end), the chain shifted and the drive belt rotated in the opposite direction. His right ring finger was pulled in and trapped between the sheave and the V-belt. The fingertip was amputated. | |||||
