Two employees were pulling a messenger cable from one utility pole to another when the messenger cable contacted an adjacent power line. Both employees suffered electrical burns to the hands and arm and were hospitalized.

An employee was standing on the top of concrete forms, which were part of the setup for the basement walls of a new house under construction. The employee was directing the flow of concrete into the forms. The hose from the concrete pumper truck moved unexpectedly as a result of a clog in the hose and knocked the employee to the ground in the interior of the basement. The employee suffered minor vertebrae fractures.
