An employee was aligning a conveyor with a press used for laminating plywood. When the employee kicked the conveyor, his right foot was pulled into a chain and sprocket. The employee attempted to free his foot with his right hand which was also pulled into the chain and sprocket. The employee sustained the amputation of two toes on their right foot. The chain and sprocket were not guarded at the time of the incident.
