An employee was positioning himself on the aerial bucket before tree trimming when the aerial lift lost hydraulic pressure and caused the upper boom to swing down. This caused the employee to be ejected from the bucket while still attached to the bucket with his harness and lanyard. He fell down 28 feet, landing on a nearby fence and hitting his head on the fence or ground. He was hospitalized, where doctors found bleeding in the brain. |
