| A temporary employee was helping other employees separate bins that were stacked together. When a bin was separated from the stack and slid forward, the employee's right ring finger was pinched between the lip of the bin he was pulling out and the bottom edge of the bin that had already been moved from the stack. The fingertip was crushed and lacerated, and had to be medically amputated. | |||||

While holding the section, gravel shifted under his feet and caused the employee to lose control. The steel pulled back to its original position and caught the employee's hand against the resting section of steel.
