On October 5, 2017, at approximately 9:00 a.m., three employees were working together to remove vinyl siding from the side walls of a residential balcony for demolition. They were working from extension ladders with hand tools. The injured employee entered the balcony from the extension ladder to look for a potential anchor location for his personal fall arrest system. When he entered the balcony, it collapsed beneath him.
