On May 2, 2019, at approximately 11:45 AM, an employee was utilizing a hanger tool to remove fibers from the bottom of the C beam diffuser from the side of the beam. The employee was using the tool with his right hand and reached over the railing and grabbed the fibers with his gloved left hand. The fibers pulled the employee's left hand and forearm into the heated press roll (248 degrees F). The employee was hospitalized with severe burns to the left hand and forearm.
