An employee was moving a steel coil that was 4.5" in width and weighed 1,340 lbs. from where it was being stored to the machine using an overhead crane. As the employee was attempting to roll the steel coil out from where it was stored to attach it to the crane, it started to become off balance and tipped over, landing on the employee's legs. The employee was trapped under the steel coil and sustained a broken tibia and fibula that required surgery.
