A truck driver's tractor had begun to roll away from its trailer. The driver was trying to reach it to stop it when his body struck one of the tires. He was hospitalized, requiring sutures to the forehead and glue for the nose laceration.

The worker fractured his leg and was hospitalized overnight at Athens Regional Medical Center. He underwent surgery, at which time a pin was inserted in the tibia of the fractured leg.
