On 6/14/2019, an employee was watching an apprentice lineman perform work. The employee took control of the work from the apprentice lineman, and grabbed the base of the utility pole. The pole came within proximity of a 69 KV line and an arc occurred, energizing the utility pole. The inside of the employee's right forearm contacted the pole at the time it became energized.
